Victoria Avenue at the top of Clifton Hill will be going through a 4 phase streetscaping project this year. The project worth millions of dollars is being built according to specifications of a master streetscaping plan designed in collaboration with the City of Niagara Falls and the Victoria Centre BIA known as the Clifton Hill district.

Other major renovation developments include Hoco – a 4 acre entertainment area located on Clifton Hill, where significant streetscaping investments will be made to create an opening from Victoria Avenue directly into the entertainment area. Kelsey’s restaurant will be expanded with a much larger patio, along with a brand new Go Cart/Coaster attraction due to open in the Fall. The Go Cart/Coaster will be the largest of its kind in North America, where you drive your Go Kart up the multi-tiered track and then coast down approximately 40 feet.

Expect to see a ‘new look’ at Ripley’s Believe it or Not attraction. Prepare for an ‘odd-venture’ at the ‘odd-itorium’ when the attraction opens its newly renovated doors in May. It will be the largest and most expensive Ripley’s in the entire chain. The big focus will be Niagara Falls but new exhibits include a ‘BumbleBee Transformer’ made from car parts, the worlds tiniest nano-sculptures that you have to view through a microsope, an Albino Buffalo and the Mona Lisa painted from nail polish, just to name a few.

When you visit Niagara Falls this year, make sure Clifton Hill is on your list of things to do in Niagara Falls.
