Firemen’s Park at 2275 Dorchester will be the hosts for the Carmel Arts and Music Festival during Canada's 150th year long birthday celebration. The three day Carmel Fine Art and Music Festival kicks off with an Artist’s Soiree on Friday from 7pm to 11pm. for a public previewing of the festival’s Juried Fine Art Show and the local high school Up and Coming Art Show. Guests will be able to mingle with the artists while enjoying wine, hors-d’oeuvres and musical entertainment along with the presentation of awards. Tickets are $15 each.

The festival will take place for all Sep.16th - 9am to 6pm. and Sept.17th - 9am to 4pm, with indoor and outdoor exhibitions of fine art in a variety of mediums and styles. Admission is $5. Kids under 12 are free.
