The human drama unfolds as you wander the grounds of historic Drummond Hill Cemetery at night this fall. As the sun sets on four select dates, you’ll glimpse into the lives–and deaths–of some of Niagara’s famous and not-so-famous historical figures.
The City of Niagara Falls History Museum is pleased once again to offer night-time walking tours of Drummond Hill Cemetery, one of Canada’s most historic cemeteries. New this year are shorter, earlier, twilight tours at 6 p.m. on Saturdays.
The Drummond Hill Cemetery Tours are scheduled for Friday, October 19 and 26 at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Saturday, October 20 and 27 at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Refreshments will be served after each tour at the Battle Ground Hotel Museum. Tours depart from the cemetery gates located on Buchner Place off Drummond Road. A rain or shine event, participants are encouraged to dress according to the weather conditions.
